We have created these classics with Martha’s Moonshine to inspire a spirit of adventure and encourage the exploration of endless possibilities. Martha's Moonshine highlights the flavours of a drink without overpowering them, making it the perfect addition or substitution. Embrace the extraordinary and give tradition a refreshing twist.

Martha Libre

Here is our take on the classic Cuba Libre. Traditionally made with a dark rum this tall drink was inspired by and created in Havana, Cuba in the 1900’s. Its name translates to ‘Free Cuba’, a toast often cried out during the Cuban War of Independence.

Naturally, a story like this inspired us to create our own version, the Martha Libre. Substituting the dark rum with Martha’s Moonshine.

Wondering Dove

Sweet, sour and divine. Our take on the Paloma pays homage to its character. While little is known about the historical origin of the Paloma, many believe is it named after La Paloma or ‘The Dove’, a popular folk song composed in the early 1860’s. The Martha’s Moonshine variation substitutes tequila for moonshine and is aptly named the Wondering Dove.

Lighthouse

A drink and a spirit tied together in an inseparable bond. It’s not exactly clear how rum and ginger beer met in a glass, but the combination was popular with the navy, possibly because it eased seasickness and rum was ubiquitous during the 1900’s. No matter how the elixir came to be, the discovery of a beverage that both lifted spirits and soothed the stomach was cause for celebration. During these celebrations, a sailor allegedly joked that his drink was “the colour of a cloud only a fool or a dead man would sail under.” And the drink was dubbed the Dark ‘n Stormy shortly after.

Our take on this classic substitutes the traditional Gosling’s Black Seal Rum for our own adventure bound spirit, Martha’s Moonshine to give you the Lighthouse.
