A mixture of classic dry gin botanicals, and contemporary Australian natives.
Tasting Notes
A classic dry gin, made with traditional botanicals including juniper, coriander, angelica, cassia, orris, green cardamom, alongside more contemporary botanicals of Australian origin such as aniseed myrtle, Tasmanian pepperberry, Kakadu plum, local rosemary, fresh peeled citrus zests. Bright citrus notes lead into rich and resinous juniper, balanced with warm spice and earthy undertones. The creamy mouthfeel gives way to a lingering yet gentle peppery finish.

The Origin of Gidley King Island Gin
The chance to interview Governor Philip Gidley King would have possibly uncovered that he wasn't against gin.
Vocal on the rum rebellion with his prohibition of illicit’s, conflict with his military officers eventually wore down his spirits.
As Governor of New South Wales, Governor Philip Gidley King encouraged vines, tobacco, and hemp.
So we thought a King Island gin born from his name a good bet.
It’s our chance to put words into practice that might have come from his mouth, that rums for men fighting, and a beautiful gin is a much more refreshing calmer way to raise a toast to King Island his story and his name.
