Tasting Notes

Distilled on King Island using malted Australian barley. Smooth on the palate with notes of biscuity malt, orange blossom honey, pear drops and aniseed.

Smooth and versatile

I was lucky enough to receive a bottle of Marthas Moonshine as a gift. Wow, not what I was expecting. When I heard Moonshine, I didn't think high end. We substituted it in various cocktails where we would normally use rum or vodka and it did not disappoint. The finish is fantastic, it doesn't fight to be the dominant flavor, allowing for a fumeless and delicious drink.
I can't wait to make a Pisco-free, Pisco sour. One Sour Martha coming up! Or maybe two......
