King Island Coastal Gin - Recognised as a finalist in The Gin Guide Awards 2025
The Gin Guide Awards celebrate and give global recognition to the exceptional products, distilleries and people within the gin industry.
King Island Coastal Gin was born to capture the essence of King Island and crafted using botanicals and King Island rainwater - experience the Australian coastal lifestyle in each and every sip.

King Island Coastal Gin Background
King Island is a place like nowhere else on earth. A place of exhilarating contradictions. Pristine, unadulterated purity meets brutal elemental forces and unforgiving, raging seas. A modern expression of gin, King Island Coastal Gin embodies the pursuit of purity in every crisp, clean sip. Amongst raging seas and Antarctic winds, it’s crafted with the world’s purest rainwater, native botanicals, bull kelp and rock salt foraged from the island’s shores.
A simple and understated bottle perfectly captures the essence of the island. A beautifully tactile, pure white label provides a canvas for the hand-painted, abstract expression of fierce waves crashing against a rugged shoreline in brilliant, intensely cold colours. 164 kilometres of coastline, one remote island distillery. A truly remarkable gin.

Coastal Gin Tasting Notes
King Island Coastal Gin is produced with botanicals including juniper, coriander, angelica, orris, cassia, native oregano, saltbush and waxflower along with foraged King Island bull kelp and rock salt.
Zesty interplay of waxflower, lime and grapefruit leads into moreish savoury and herbaceous notes provided by the native coastal botanicals.
The finish is long and supported by the classic character of bright juniper intermingling with the salinity provided by the ingredients foraged from the harsh coastline of King Island.
